LOS ANGELES, December 7, 2023 — Pyte, a leading data collaboration and computations company, today announced that it has received SOC 2 Type 1 certification.
SOC 2 is a compliance framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). In achieving SOC 2 Type 1 certification, Pyte has demonstrated effective data controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
“Our team is committed to providing our clients with a trusted solution to collaborate on intellectual property and client data without ever needing to decrypt it with our proprietary Secure Multiparty Computation solution, SecureMatch,” said Sadegh Riazi, CEO and co-founder of Pyte. “SOC 2 certification attests that Pyte’s internal controls for data management and security are just as robust as its secure computation protocols, giving our clients full confidence in using our data collaboration technology as they work with partners to gain valuable insights about their clients.”
SecureMatch, Pyte’s data collaboration solution, enables client data to remain encrypted at all times — even during computation. SecureMatch is the only data collaboration solution that can compute encrypted data without the need for decryption at any point in the data lifecycle. Pyte’s clients are able to keep their data in their own cloud environments at all times, enabling each company to maintain complete data sovereignty and control.
Pyte is announcing SOC 2 compliance during a time of significant growth for the company. Pyte launched SecureMatch in May 2023, and the platform has been adopted by Fortune 100 companies. Pyte has also raised $6.7 million from Innovation Endeavors, Pillar VC, and the National Science Foundation.

Standard access management is not enough to protect data. Snowflake's recent hack is just another example.
